Marius Goring

Stage and screen actor who had a long stage career starting in the 1920s. Although he was well-known for the four Powell and Pressburger films he did including A Matter of Life and Death (1946) and The Red Shoes (1948) and as Dr John Hardy in the BBC series The Expert (1968–1976), he always considered the stage as his first love.
