Cerceau

An English translation by Adrian Brine of the Russian play written by Viktor Slavkin at the time of glasnost era of the 1980s, it traces the story of a group of people who open up an old country villa which one of them, Petushok, has inherited.

They discover many things, including meeting an aged dandy from Tsarist times, Koka, and the lawn game Cerceau, played in country houses until the revolution.
