Never Too Late
Maureen O’Sullivan briefly left the American cast to cover for Joan Bennett, who had torn a ligament in her left foot. O’Sullivan played the first week at Nottingham, first going on only six hours after arriving in the city. (‘Maureen flies in for top role’, Daily Herald 7th September 1963, page 5.)
