The Director of the Opera
UK premiere of Lucienne Hill’s translation of Anouilh’s LE DIRECTEUR DE L’OPERA, playing in repertoire at Chichester with Jonathan Miller’s production of THE SEAGULL. This production changed several names – in the original text, Sophia was Maria Josepha, Roberto was Frederico, and Federico was Leonardo.
