Observations

Ruita Dagmar (1912–1995) is my mother. Born Margaret (Rita) Murison in Dumfries, she married my father, Terence Duff a.k.a. Patrick Desmond (1907–1976), in Edinburgh. She and my father were at the New Rialto, Colwyn Bay for about 18 months, he directing and acting, she acting. Pauline Quarmby met my mother’s brother when he came visiting and they married. Pauline thus became mu aunt!
