Gomes

GOMES [is] a load of rubbish in three acts at the Queen’s. Fifty years ago it might have caused some interest as a crook-thriller bringing in orgies in a convent and a homosexual. Now it appears dreadfully old fashioned.” – Plays in Performance: Load of Rubbish, The Stage 29th November 1973

Observations

  1. On 26th April 2024 at 2:11 p.m., jb2011 noted:

Remember going to see this on the Saturday that it closed (having had its press night on the Tuesday) don’t recall much about the play itself apart from dark sets and lots of red lighting but I do have fond memories of having drinks with Roy and his daughter Michelle in his dressing room after the show
