Initially cast included Sebastian Shaw, Ted Valentine, Richard Moore, Sheila Allen and Bruce Myers. From 22 March they were replaced by Clifford Rose, David Ashford, Phillip Hinton, Lyn Farleigh and Gerald McNally respectively. When Phillip Hinton moved from playing Murderer 3 to Murderer 1 this part was taken by David Kincaid.
Cast & Crew
This production was thwarted by ill fate. Yes this particular play always brings a little bad luck. The costumes were black plastic, and it was found during dress rehearsals that the cast became dehydrated and “dropped like flies”. Holes for ventilation were punched in the costumes, but it only helped a little!. This production’s eye opener was the use of long red acrylic fur, which when beautifully lighted (by David er , er, forgive me, our lighting director) came to life as stormy long grass.
Opening night was delayed because of illness…Ah yes..all that stuff about this particular play is TRUE! Liz Freeland: Lowly Assistant Stage Manager.
