The Love Machine
Farce based on a real-life case of a television presenter being threatened with murder by a jealous husband, whose wife had fallen for the TV image. Intended for the West End, it didn’t get there. Alexander Doré had directed the play’s premiere production, with a different cast, at the Theatre Royal, Leicester on 7th June the same year.
