Observations

  1. On 12th April 2023 at 2:47 p.m., gilesdenmark noted:

Patti Smith was performing in the main theater of the Roundhouse theatre in Cande Town some nights – which was great for Giles Mitchell and cast who after their performance see her perform. Incidentally Giles Mitchell took on alternative name for himself as Giles Denmark.

Here is a verse from part of the performance written by Giles Mitchell
    Cracks in a City

The snake comes to the surface
Like coalminers we climb its coils
The underground drags us day into night, night into day
    We dig into its depths
Finding the cracks in our bodies
    The cracks in our souls
    Fantasy on the walls
Truth in the piss on the floors
We are drugged by the dropping of coins into machines
We are drugged by the repetitive warning voices in the lift
We are drugged by the screams of trains
And the doors being ripped open and closed
As the underground digs it hypodermic into our veins
