Kind Sir
This play was the source of the 1958 film INDISCREET, starring Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman.
This two-week Windsor run was the culmination of a long tour presented by Harold Fielding, which opened at the Royal Court, Liverpool on 1st May and ended at the Royalty Theatre, Chester on 2nd September. Fielding wasn’t credited in the Windsor programme, however, and the set was designed in-house by Hal Henshaw rather than the tour’s designer, Robert Weaver. The cast was the same, except for Donald Walker replacing Peter Badger as the porter.
