Double Error
This specific production does not yet have a description, but the play itself does:
The play concerns a man who, after a failed attempt to kill a woman, finds himself blackmailed over the incident. It was filmed in 1937 as “The Price of Folly”.
In 1942 J Lee Thompson wrote a revised version called “Murder Without Crime” (qv) which also enjoyed a successful West End run at the Comedy Theatre (now Harold Pinter Theatre). In 1950 Thompson directed, as his first film, an adaptation also called “Murder Without Crime” and starring Dennis Price and Derek Farr.
