Monsieur Blaise
Reviewed twice in The Stage – ‘The Big Joke is Semi-Nudity’ (12th December 1963, page 15) and ‘Back in a French Farce’ (16th January 1964, page 15).
Director credit on tour went to Jimmy Thompson, but in London to Darry Guerin – presumably a pseudonym. Both designer Nina Thompson and translator Ninian Kipling were also the same person – Thompson’s wife.
The ‘delivery man’ character was added in London.
