First West End success in “For Amusement Only” at the Apollo Theatre which contained a remembered devastating impersonation of Liberace which nightly stopped the show. Following that many famous titles: – “Rape of the Belt”, “The Amorous Prawn”, and “The Boy Friend” to mention only a few. In films, he appeared in many of the Carry-On series and known to millions of television viewers for his tremendous appearances with “Pinky & Perky”. He was joined by Marjorie Proops and Cyril Fletcher in his own radio panel game series “You Don’t Say”.
