Cavalcade
This 50th anniversary production, matching professional actors with some 300 local amateurs, was completely sold out by the first night and was revived (with some cast changes) on 7th October the same year. (‘Regional News: Cavalcade encore’, The Stage 14th May 1981, page 22.)
