Mickie Driver

Mickie toured in Musicals and Children’s Theatre for several years, but is now a Variety Performer specialising in Music Hall, Cockney, WWII & WWI and songs from the 50s and 60s. He also arranges themed production shows such as “Bless ’em All” (a wartime variety show first performed at the Hyde Park celebrations for the 50th anniversary of VE Day) – A Cockney Ding Dong – The Fabulous Fifties and many more. Performers in these shows are all professional entertainers. Mickie arranges Variety Lunches in North and South London, where guests sit down to a roast lunch followed by one of his shows. Pre-booking is essential – call 020 8881 9592 for details. The main performance of 2013 and 2014 was ‘Happy and Glorious’ – a celebration of HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Mickie’s charity work includes being an ambassador and fundraiser for the Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy, raising funds and arranging entertainment in homes for ex-service men and women for The ‘Not Forgotten’ Association, arranging and funding an annual show for The Lest We Forget Association and fundraising for St Joseph’s Hospice in London’s East End and the Greenwich and Bexley Hospice in Belvedere.
