The Moonraker
This specific production does not yet have a description, but the play itself does:
Swashbuckling tale of Cavaliers and Roundheads, with a Scarlet Pimpernel slant, described by the author as “a romance of the Exeter-road of the 1650 period”. (Richmond Herald 2nd February 1946, page 9.) Initially called THE MOONRAKER, it reappeared in 1947 as LADY OF THE NIGHT but subsequently reverted to its original title.
