Sadly the actress Sophie Winter collapsed on the afternoon of the final performance at Scarborough and died the following day. The play was due to open at the Minerva Theatre Chichester the following week but was delayed for a week. For the Chichester run the part of Gussie was played by Phyllida Hancock.
