Fredrik Paine
In his first appearances at Colchester he was billed as Frederick Payne but another, more senior, actor of this name was already registered with the Actors Union and so he was asked to change it. This was the variation he chose per the announcement in the programme for “Simon and Laura” 30th January – 4th February 1956.
