Kris Haddow’s profile
Kris Haddow is a Scottish actor, playwright and author of short stories written in Scots and English. He writes arts commentary and theatre reviews for publication in the UK and online when not appearing on stage.
Winner of the 2010 ‘See Me’ Scotland Creative Writing Award with his short story entry, judged by author Lari Don and awarded by Scots Makar Liz Lochhead, Kris is currently adapting the piece for performance as a dramatic monologue alongside his other work in development.
Kris recently toured in ‘Girl X‘ with the National Theatre of Scotland and in Scottish Ballet’s ‘Romeo and Juliet‘, appeared in community opera with Scottish Opera and the Citizens Theatre, and has been filmed in several BBC Scotland productions as a supporting artist.
