King Lear

With Much Ado About Nothing toured the UK and Europe from 6^th June to 17^th December including a season at the Palace Theatre in London and three weeks at the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre.

From the start of the tour to 16^th July Peggy Ashcroft played Cordelia. Claire Bloom took the part for the London season and by the Stratford run in November Mary Watson was playing it.
