The Woman on the Stair
Thriller in which a blind woman, Jane, ‘witnesses’ the murder of elderly Mrs Temple by a young thug, Dave.
This was an expanded version of James Parish’s ABC television play THE WITNESS (tx 24th February 1957), with Nora Nicholson reprising her role as the murder victim. A film version, WITNESS IN THE DARK, was made at Twickenham Studios in July 1959.
