The Beetle
Adaptation by J B Fagan, Charles Freeman ‘and the late George S King’ of Richard Marsh’s 1897 horror novel, staged soon after the death of co-producer Dennis Eadie.
For the West End run, the characters of Augustus Champnell, Booking Clerk and Taxi Driver No. ML.6083 were dropped, with Inspectors Lang and Messiter added.
