The Tower
After BIG BAD JO-JO and THE LOCAL STIGMATIC, this was the third ever production directed by Frederick Proud and produced by Verity Bargate, performed as a one-hour lunchtime production (start time: 1.15pm) in the basement of a Chinese restaurant in New Compton Street, now a car park.
Norman Eshley was announced for this production a fortnight before the opening, but a week later Paul Gregory had taken his place. (See The Stage 29th January 1970, page 14, and 5th February 1970, page 16.)
