A special production for the Fanfare for Europe celebrations in January 1973 (to mark the entry of the UK into the EEC),  combining Henry Purcell’s “semi-opera” The Fairy-Queen with William Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream in a version by Gareth Morgan and Keith Statham, with additional and linking text by John Barton.
