Downright Hooligan
This play, credited to C G Bond rather than Chris or Christopher Bond, was revived in November 1973 by both the Liverpool Everyman and Contact Theatre, Manchester.
“A young man [Ian Rigby] boots to death an old-age pensioner in a London betting-shop on the slightest of pretexts and the author sets out to try and discover the reason for such brutality. There were sensitive and powerful performances by Polly Warren, Terry Molloy and Graham Watkins.” – Eric Johns, THEATRE 73
