The Photographer
Stage debut of former model Sue Lloyd.
“THE PHOTOGRAPHER is both new and an exceptional ‘must’, and it gives us intense pleasure to know that Windsor audiences will be the first to see this exciting and captivating play. We are presenting it in association with H M Tennent Ltd, in itself a hallmark of the play’s quality.” – Windsor publicity
Film rights were bought in July 1964 by Peter Glenville, with Peter O’Toole to star, but the film wasn’t made. A television version, with Robert Stephens, Derek Jacobi and Susannah York, was produced for ITV PLAYHOUSE and shown on 29th January 1968.
