To Kill a Cat
This play was entitled INDEPENDENCE when initially presented at the ‘Q’ and Embassy theatres. The production, retitled TO KILL A CAT, transferred to the Aldwych intact, except that Jon Pertwee (19-year-old son of one of the authors) had been sacked and replaced by Grey Blake. The West End run was withdrawn after just 28 performances.
