Turn Back the Clock
In honour of Joyce Grenfell’s centenary year, this comedy revue revisits her best loved monologues and songs, including, ‘Stately as a Galleon’ and ‘George Don’t Do That’. Recreating the style of one of her stage shows (a few props, a piano and a nice frock) this really is a gem of nostalgia and perfect for a lighthearted lunchtime treat. Acclaimed director Paul Knight of Pneuma Arts and Golden Theatre, actress Cheryl Knight (no relation…) and pianist Alice Farnham combine their expertise to bring to life a golden age of comedy.
