Evil Crossing

A Russian ship, the Demeter, runs aground on the shores of Whitby, during a fierce tempest. All of the crew are missing, presumed dead, victims of the unearthly lifeform that lies comatose in the ship’s hold during daylight hours. One body is found, that of the captain, tied to the ship’s helm. Fringe favourites Tempo aim to set nerves tingling in this intense drama which explores the death ship’s harrowing, nightmarish sea voyage from Transylvania to England. Performed by James Dickson. Directed by John Naples Campbell. Devised by James Dickson and John Naples Campbell.
