Fast-paced and funny short stories about ambition, workaholics and (those hard-grafting creatures) wasps; set to a throbbing soundtrack and animated by projected drawings. All the sweat and adrenaline of a live music gig with surreal philosophy to boot. Funky front-woman Laura tells true accounts of the madness of unemployment, an excruciatingly embarrassing job interview and of the disruption night shifts cause to her former domestic bliss. It’s a reflection on why we work; why we strive so hard for status and of the redemptive power of love.
