A gently irreverent updating of Dylan Thomas’s classic tale of the curious dreams and humorous lives of the residents of a mythical, everyday Welsh village. Three generations on we encounter anew an array of endearingly unusual and sympathetic caricatures, now with fantasies, fears and humdrum lives blending timeless provincial patterns with the hectic modern concerns of an intrusive wider world of social networking, carbon footprints, celebrity and porn-obsessed teens.
