Requiem

Theatre’s turbulent relationship with its critics and their inherent need for each other, told through the tempestuous love affair between the greatest in the business. Through infamous critic (Mac Mackenzie) and talented star (Sir Leo Bisby) we see their encounters revealed through the funny, touching and outrageous story. As Leo re-lives his reminiscences we reveal the darker more mysterious side to their relationship. The fast-paced, witty and sexually charged exchanges makes for compelling viewing. From writer Owen Phillips: ‘Phillips’s script intelligently captures the personal politics and emotional transactions’ (Scotsman).
