Bow, Wow
Double bill. ‘Oh Baby’ is a playful duet of genuine and complex emotions, created by Hagit Yakira, performed by Yakira and Takeshi Matsumoto with great original music by Winters and Doran. Put simply, here’s a man and woman dealing with love. There’s beautiful intensity and moments of subtlety. Fiction and reality flip flop throughout. Irish Modern Dance Theatre’s ‘The Bowing Dance’ is for me and you; a duet solo created and performed by John Scott. Playful and idiosyncratic, ‘Bowing Dance’ has been performed in Ireland, France, La MaMa Moves New York, Liverpool, and Sweden.
