My Name is Margaret Morris

Two formidable talents, actor/director Barbara Rafferty and choreographer/writer Stuart Hopps, have joined forces to bring to life Margaret Morris, the dance world’s ‘renaissance woman’ and forgotten choreographer, exploring the frailty of talent and celebrating the invaluable contribution of an amazing woman, from her early beginnings through her extraordinary life’s journey. As well as being the lifelong partner of Scottish Colourist JD Fergusson, Margaret was a dancer, actor, choreographer, producer, director, designer, physiotherapist, educator and the inventor of the universal training method, the Margaret Morris Movement. Yet despite such rare accomplishments, she remains relatively unknown.
