James has a problem. No one really knows where it stems from and it’s very hard to treat. His dad doesn’t understand and his mum is too clinical to really connect with him, especially when all James wants is out. But how hard is it really to cope with something you can’t understand? Packing a punch to both the head and the heart, (Bye)Polar takes an intense look at the self destructive effects depression can have on a family searching for answers and towing a thin line between forgiveness and blame.
