Pint for the Ghost

‘A Pint for the Ghost’ is a sequence of poems inspired by a South Yorkshire legend: where strange characters come to introduce themselves, spectres brought to life through poems and stories set in a lonely pub. From the phantom miner at hanging Flatt to the spirit in the hospital x-ray machine, it’s a nighttime encounter with the ghosts of worked-out mines, smoky pubs and deserted highways. One more for the road?
