Dean’s Dad’s Ducks

Thirty-thousand plastic ducks sank in the North Pacific in 1992 after their cargo ship was bombed by a US fighter jet. This is the tale of their voyage, the double life of the man who made them and 30 years of secrets and lies. Stories, poems and songs about accidental hitchhiking, swan machines and lemon trees on trains. Never one to take the obvious A to B route, join Dean for off-the-map diversions via C, D and E, ending up F knows where. Funny, bittersweet journeys with a dodgy dad and his flotilla of plucky ducks.
