Head of the Fork

A comic tragedy about the point we reach at the beginning of our adult lives when the sense of infinite possibility seem both liberating and completely terrifying. Two housemates display what happens when nothing happens: Fred, paralysed at life’s big crossroads. Dom, sensible, gainfully employed, getting on in the world and driven almost to distraction by his friend’s apparently terminal inertia. ‘There’s a heap of promise in this new play. As with any good tragedy, the situation is hopeless, but avoids mawkish sentimentality. The pair make an excellent double act’ (Roger Cox, Scotsman).
