I Can’t Stand Up for Falling Down

Do you believe in enlightenment? Do you think life-changing moments really occur? Billy Bly is a stand-up comedian: self-absorbed, self-indulgent, self-opinionated. When he receives a letter from a stranger, his world is thrown into turmoil and he is forced to question the value and significance of his entire life. A play about the meaning of life: the dangers of obsession and whether men ever grow up. What happens when perception and reality clash? What happens when image and illusion are usurped by normality? What happens when the Sky remote breaks? Jokes, tears and mystery.
