Blackout

Imagine a small room, bright lights, white walls and a metal door. Imagine you wake up in a jail cell and the police guy looks at you like you’re a pure thug. Imagine he looks at you and says: ‘you’re getting charged with attempted murder, wee man.’ You’d start remembering everything! Inspired by the story of a young offender from Glasgow, ‘Blackout’ is a 45 minute smack in the face. Directed by Neil Bettles, ThickSkin debuts at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 2010. A company producing heart-stopping visual theatre. ‘Blackout’ is a mix of striking physicality and Anderson’s hard-hitting text.
