Richard Trent starred as Allan Felix to great acclaim, but was billed as ‘Trent Richards’ due to Equity indicating that there was another actor on their rolls with the same or a similar name.
The opening performance of this production was dedicated to Ingrid Bergman, who had died the previous day. (Cyril Price, ‘Ingrid’s memory is kept in Clwyd’, Liverpool Echo 31st August 1982, page 5.)
