Mrs Gibbons’ Boys
“This was the second production [after GRAB ME A GONDOLA] to reach the West End from the Windsor Repertory Company in the course of two weeks. MRS GIBBONS’ BOYS proved to be a most amusing American comedy about a doting mother with three tough sons.” Theatre World Annual (London) number 8
An extract from the London production, which ran for 106 performances, was shown on BBC Television on 7th January 1957. The post-London tour, beginning at the Bournemouth Pavilion on 22nd April, starred Barbara Mullen.
