Return

Noah left where he was from and can’t be himself where he ended up. Convinced he had to leave to make his mark, but is that mark attached to a place?

…a world where a lot of things seem the same and where nothing actually is. The girl he left behind. A younger brother he hardly knows. An older brother’s shadow, and the weight of why he left.

Incorporating the mechanics of lighting and stunning cinematography alongside the immediacy and freedom of spoken word, RETURN is the story of a man trying to figure out where he fits. Illustrating his attempt to find home, captivating rhythms and patterns of speech create an experience that feels at once like a film and a campfire story – shared and completed in your imagination.

In this captivating and imaginative piece Polarbear has joined forces with critically acclaimed director Yael Shavit and award-winning new technologies designer Marie Blunck. Together the trio encourage you to explore and like a film director, be challenged to re-imagine as the story unfolds…
