Shakespeare Schools Festival
The UK’s largest youth drama festival comes to Solihull in October 2008. This year 50 theatres, across the country, will stage 500 productions of Shakespeare’s plays. Each night 4 local schools stage 4 different half-hour plays.
The festival offers young people from Solihull schools the chance to perform abridged productions in a professional theatre following training, workshops, rehearsals plus hard work and fun by all concerned!
