Mela
West Yorkshire Playhouse presents Mela
It’s summer, the Mela is just hotting up and the whole town is there. Troy is just back from Iraq and trying to be the model British solider; his old friend Ranjit is ready for a display of Sikh martial arts; and Sajjad and Mariam exchange barbed comments over his Al-Aqsa mosque calendars and her hand-made pottery. As Angela watches them from afar an unexpected explosion occurs throwing together old friends and even older enemies.
