Shinda is lost, and an alcoholic. Alan is cold, and homeless. John is wrongly labelled and now misunderstood. What they have in common is a bench. The Bench is a familiar place and also a place of comfort; it is a soapbox and a place to fulfil one’s destiny.
The Bench is a short one-man performance that exposes themes of alcoholism, homelessness and abandonment.
