In the cotton fields of Punjab, Baba, an ageing farmer tends his crops and pins his hopes of prosperity on GM seeds and Western pesticides. His son, Dhani, full of frustrated ambition, dreams of going to America while his dutiful daughter, Chandni finds herself torn between the land she loves and the man she adores.

Renowned for taking audiences on unpredictable journeys that entertain, excite and inspire, Kali present this beautifully written and moving new play, which tells of the disastrous environmental damage and devastating effect on real human lives triggered when the forces of nature, tradition and globalisation collide.
