Mack & Mabel
The date is 1938, Mack Sennett a temperamental, workaholic film director laments the end of silent films, and subsequent end of his career. In a series of musical flashback numbers Mack transports us back to the age of Bathing Beauties, Charlie Chaplin and The Keystone Cops.
Through Mack we witness his turbulent relationship with Mabel Normand ‘The Queen of Comedy’ and her spectacular rise to stardom. This is a show with something for everyone; slapstick comedy, romance, tragedy, so let Mack take you back to a time when movies were movies!
