La Boheme
Giacomo Puccini’s romantic tragedy is performed by the new professional company, Opera Bohemia. This intimate production by John Wilkie is accompanied by Laura Baxter at the piano. South African soprano Pumeza Matshikiza, principal young artist from the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, sings the role of Mimi. Matshikiza is joined by a cast of emerging Scottish artists with Alistair Digges in the role of Rudolpho. This timeless, moving classic will take you on an emotional journey and is the perfect introduction to opera for first time opera-goers.
