A play by Agatha Christie and Frank Vosper
The play was originally billed as adapted by Frank Vosper from the short story “Philomel Cottage” by Agatha Christie. In fact Christie herself had adapted it as an unpublished play called “The Stranger” and it was this version that was further adapted by Vosper.
